Honorable Ann S. San Agustin Leon Guerrero

Ann S. San Agustin Leon Guerrero is the daughter of the late Speaker Joe Taitano (Kueto) “Joe T.” and Carmen Santos (Lencho) Shimizu (Kacha) San Agustin. She has three siblings: Mary S. San Agustin, Senator Joe S. San Agustin and John S. San Agustin. She has three daughters and one son: Leiana, Meleana, Anjoleen, and Nathan. She attended Santa Barbara Catholic School and Notre Dame Catholic High School and graduated from the University of Guam with a BBA degree in Business and Marketing.
 

Honorable Peter John Benavente

Mayor Peter John Salas Benavente, born and raised in the village of Dededo, the son of former Dededo Vice Mayor Andrew Peter "Daigo" Benavente and Janice Salas Benavente. He is married to Maribeth Balidio Benavente, and they are the proud parents of Zaine Peter and Zian John Benavente. Peter comes from a family with strong local ties, including his late grandparents Juan Guerrero Benavente, Estella Anderson Benavente, Pedro L.G. Salas, and Remedio Nededog Salas. He has three siblings: Joileen Renee Benavente, Dana Jean Benavente, and Tara Jaylene and Kevin Cruz.

  • Thurs. 12/29, Village PlayTime for children preparing for Kindergarten. Parents are encouraged to bring their children for this fun play activities from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Dededo Sports Complex.
  • Tues. 1/3/2023, there will be a vaccination & booster outreach at the Astumbo Senior Citizen Center from 10 am to 2 pm.

Dededo Village News - October 21, 2022

  • Fri. 10/28, Village Play Time with DPHSS & Partners at the Farmers Coop/Dededo Flea Market from 9 am to 11 am. Families with children 3 yrs old to 5 yrs old are encouraged to bring your children. Free activities and prizes for all participants.
  • Sat 10/29, National Take Back Day from 10 am to 2 pm at the Dededo Senior Citizen Center. Residents needing to dispose of prescription medications, illegal drugs, expired over the counter medications are welcome to dispose items on this day.

- Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Northern Guam for hosting the "9-11 Day of Remembrance" at Two Lover's Point Garden.

- Youths 14 to 25 interested in running for Guam Youth Congress can pick up a packet at the Mayor's Office.

- Residents are reminded to keep all pets restrained to your private properties. There are many dogs chasing children walking to and from school and bus stops.

Tues, 1/25/2022 - Dept of Agriculture will host a workshop on Invasive pests at the Dededo Senior Citizen Center from 5 pm to 6 pm.

The Dededo Library is now open Mon-Thurs from 9 am to 5:30 pm and on Fridays from 10 am. to 4 pm. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the various services that our Public Library has to office our community.
