About Us

Senior Center Operations has been proudly serving our island's elderly community, as a provider of senior center services across Guam, we are committed to creating safe, welcoming spaces where our manåmko'—our treasured elders-can thrive.

We currently operate twelve (12) Senior Centers throughout the island, each offering a range of vital services and programs designed to support our elders. Our Senior Centers are located in Agana Heights, Astumbo, Dededo, Hågat, Inalåhan, Mangilao, Malesso, Santa Rita-Sumai, Sinajana, Tamuning, Yigo, and Yoña/Talofofo in Yoña.


Purpose

To set forth the terms and conditions by Service Provider will provide DPHSS, DSC, HHS ACL OAA Title III-B compliant management and operations of Senior Center Operations Program. To provide services designed to enable older individuals to attain and maintain physical and mental well-being by addressing their physical, social, psychological, economical, educational, and recreational needs; to include disease prevention and health promotion services and activities. Senior Center Operations services is to provide services designed to assist approximately 1,500 eligible older individuals (seniors) age 60 and older, and their spouse below the age of 60 and or adult child with disability provided the underage spouse and or adult child with disability is accompanying the participating senior who is an older individual. The older individual shall be present for the underage spouse and or adult child with a disability to access SCO services and activities.
 


This Program is Funded through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, Title III-B Supportive Services of the Older Americans Act as Amended and local Government of Guam funds to Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services, Division of Senior Citizens.
