Born September 5, 1970, Bill is the youngest son of the late †Manuel Cruz Quenga and †Isabel Aguon Quenga. He is married to Marie Elizabeth Taijeron Quenga and is the proud father of Audrey, Byron, Jeremy, Bill Jr., Myah and Madison. He is the grandfather of Zeikyn, Zhayvin, Zeniah, Kyrie, Braden, Kaylee and Bailey.
Bill is the brother of Manuel Aguon Quenga, Barbara Q. and Carson Hunt, Anne Q. and Anthony Mendiola, Mary Q. and the late †PaulWayne M. Terlaje, Dolores Q. and Carol Borja, Eleanor Q. and Eugene “Dunge” Rios, Vincent and Elizabeth Quengaand Frances Quenga.
Growing up in Yona, Bill attended M.U. Lujan Elementary School, Agueda Johnston Middle School and eventually became a graduate of George Washington High School.
Bill worked with the Guam Waterworks Authority as a Heavy Equipment Operation for 21 years. He ventured off in September 2011, to California and worked for CableCom. He returned home and again worked for the Guam Waterworks Authority and then DZSP beforerunning for mayor.
He coached the Yona, Babe Ruth Big League 16-18 in 2006 and Babe Ruth 9-10 in 2007; and has taken both his teams off-island to Reno, Nevada and Salt Lake City, Utah for the Cal Ripken All Star Tournaments. He also had the privilege to coach the Girls Fast Pitch Softball Senior league which made it to the Little League World Series in Sussex, Delawarein 2015.
He also played baseball as a young man, but most recently in the Master’s Baseball League(2018-2019, 2019-2020).
He has shown great interest in bringing the people of Yona together through sports and most recently through beautification of the village of Yona. Bill is very hands-on and takes pride in what he does for the people of Yona, the betterment of the village and more especially wants to take care of the youth and our Senior Citizens, our manåmko’.
